The Traveller’s Secret Box (TSB) entered Switzerland inconspicuously. In the UK, the EasyJet check-in assistant commented that the suitcase was overweight but decided to overlook the issue. TSB exited the suitcase and took its place in the hotel room.

After posing as a magazine rack, TSB was finally allowed to participate in the upcoming hike.

TSB performed its duties well and without complaint.

Nevertheless, it never fully integrated into the group.

It only participated in the margins.

In all its attempts at blending in, TSB was continuously out of place.

It would have been better to stand tall and take the centre stage.

But in the Swiss landscape, TSB made little impression.

And though its existence was acknowledged, TSB was accepted under the most degrading circumstances.

Heading back, it took its place with the dog.

On the flight home, TSB’s presence was noted and charged
for. Nothing ever slips past the Swiss.
